Welcome to the Carole Lombard Blogathon! I have a bunch of friends joining me to celebrate, so stay tuned as I add participants!
I’m very excited and honored to be hosting this tribute to Carole Lombard this year in celebrate the 117th anniversary of her birthday on October 6th. She is an inspiration in her acting and in her real life that was tragically cut short. Her love story with Clark Gable is nothing if not endearing, truly a story for the ages. Because of that, I chose to write about No Man of Her Own in my post. I’m currently actively researching her for a couple of books I’m working on next year where she is my muse, so I’m diving hard into her films and life, and I couldn’t be more excited. I wanted to host to honor this legendary performer and bring in some great writers to come along with me. I’m so excited to see their articles and thoughts on her films, connecting films, and her life. Let’s go!
Happy Carole Lombard Birthday Weekend!
