Questions
- What is the most creative blog post idea you’ve ever thought of?
Good question! I’m pretty proud of the post I wrote about why kids should watch classic movies. I had fun thinking of all of the different reasons. I have been watching classic movies since I was a kid and wanted to start my kids early on too. - When was the last time you left a comment on someone else’s blog?
Yesterday! I try to comment on other classic movie blogs as much as I can. I commented about participating in a blogathon I was invited to. - Is there a movie or tv show other people like that you don’t? If so, what is it?
My husband and I were just talking about this. We’ve both tried to get into the show, The Office and have failed. I know a lot of people love that show, but I just don’t find it that amusing. - Do you like reading? If so, what book are you currently reading?
I love reading! I just started Lauren Bacall’s autobiography. I’ve been doing more writing lately than reading. I tend to go in cycles. With two little kids, there’s only so much time for my own stuff. - What is a movie related opinion you and your friend see eye-to-eye on?
My childhood best friend and I grew up watching classic movies together. We both love Gene Kelly. - Is there any advice your family has given you that has be applicable to your blog?
Write what you love to write. I’ve been struggling with how to spend my time and trying to earn extra money. Focusing on what I love to write about is a much better approach than writing purely to make extra cash. - Has Coronavirus affected your blog in any way? How?
Not really. If anything, it’s made me focus more on building it out. - What was the most recent gift you purchased for a loved one?
Hmm, I got my kids some paint! - Have you come across a character from media that you found relatable? Who and why?
No one that comes to mind right away. There are elements in many characters that are relatable. - If given the opportunity, which movie scene would you re-do?
This is a hard question! I’m not sure, but I have wondered what certain movies would be like if the Broadway actor had been in the movie…such as Julie Andrews in My Fair Lady. - What are your thoughts on time travel?
I’m for it! Time travel is a fun and complicated topic. I love the Back to the Future movies.
