Spring fever has hit! Things to do outside with little ones!

It was close to 60 degrees here in WI yesterday and the plan was to get out for a walk. That did not happen as a headache hit me in the afternoon {boo!} Planning on one today though! It’s going to be mid-40’s. Here’s hoping the babe doesn’t get cold!
She’s going to be 2 in less than 2 months, so this summer should be a bit more exciting for us. The nicer weather already has visions of outdoor activities dancing in my head, so I put together some ideas to get you out and enjoying the weather. I may be jumping the gun here, but the spring fever is strong.

{I was curious if there was a song called “Spring Fever” and I was pleasantly surprised by the super fun Elvis song above! SO FUN!}
Things to do with your toddler as the weather warms:

  1. Go for a walk.
  2. Go for a hike.
  3. Set them loose in the backyard.
  4. Play with a water table.
  5. Play in the kiddie pool.
  6. Play with a sprinkler.
  7. Break out the bubbles.
  8. Break out the sidewalk chalk.
  9. Put a blanket on the grass with their toys.
  10. Play ball or Frisbee.
  11. Go to the park and swing it out!

I plan on doing ALL of these things this summer. We have been cooped up too long this winter and it’s going to be awesome to soak up some much needed Vitamin D as soon as possible.
