Welcome to the Marilyn Monroe – 100th Birthday Anniversary Blogathon!

Woohoo! It’s here! Marilyn Monroe’s legacy lives on, and this year, we will hit 100 years since her birth on June 1, 1926! To celebrate, participants will be posting articles relating to Marilyn from now through Monday! I’ll be updating this list as articles go up! If you’re a participant, please comment with your link!

There is no doubt that Marilyn was an amazing actress during her short life. She could do comedy, drama, and film noir. Given her public persona, I think people often forget how talented she really was. It takes skill to play the dumb blonde, the femme fatale, and the woman who has had a breakdown…and she did all three.

Happy Marilyn Weekend!
